The 2026 Decatur Book Festival (DBF) Street Fair will take place on Saturday only, October 3, 2026, in the vibrant and historic city of Decatur in Atlanta, Georgia. The Street Fair celebrates reading, writing, and creativity. In 2025, the festival welcomed an estimated 20,000 engaged book lovers from across the region.

The Street Fair features a wide variety of exhibitors, including authors, poets, publishers, booksellers, writing groups, artists, nonprofits, and small businesses. We especially welcome exhibitors whose offerings center on books, literary materials, and merchandise that align with DBF’s mission.​ Be part of the celebration by connecting directly with readers, sharing your work, and showcasing your passion for books and literature.

The 2026 DBF exhibitor application is now OPEN! Applications will be reviewed and accepted in batches as we finalize the festival layout. With major improvements and construction underway on the new Decatur Square, the exact footprint of the festival is still being determined. We appreciate your patience as we thoughtfully plan for these exciting updates downtown.​​
Space is limited, and due to capacity constraints, not all applications can be approved. We look forward to reviewing your submission and creating another memorable Street Fair experience together.

Exhibit Space Details
Exhibit spaces for 2026 are available in the following sizes:

10' x 20' (200 square feet)

Primary exhibit areas will be located in the heart of downtown Decatur. Final locations are still being determined, and placement details will be shared with accepted exhibitors.
Pricing and Inclusions
The cost for a 10' x 10' exhibit space is $515 and includes:

One (1) 10' x 10' tented booth space

One (1) 6-foot table

Two (2) folding chairs

One (1) booth identification sign with exhibitor name and booth number

The cost for a 10' x 20' exhibit space is $1,030 and includes:

Four (4) folding chairs

One (1) booth identification sign with exhibitor name and booth number
Additional Items Available (for an extra cost)

Additional Tables: $35 each (6-foot)

Exhibitor Application Process
Due to high demand, exhibitor applications will be reviewed and considered by the DBF. If your application is accepted, you will be notified separately. Once accepted, payment must be made as soon as possible to secure your spot. Please note: your exhibit space is not guaranteed until payment is received.
Weather Policy
The DBF Street Fair will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather or an exhibitor’s decision not to attend.
Application Acceptance & Policies
The DBF reserves the right to reject any application deemed unsuitable or inappropriate for the event. All exhibitors must review and acknowledge the DBF’s terms and conditions before completing their application.
