Memory Makes Us makes International debut at 2015 AJC Decatur Book Festival

Memory Makes Us

Created by if:book Australia, Memory Makes Us is a live writing event that challenges writers to create a new work using memories collected from the general public as their inspiration.

After two years touring Australia, the project makes it International debut at the 2015 AJC Decatur Book Festival. On Saturday, September 5 Atlanta favorite Randy Osborne and Australian bestseller Paddy O’Reilly will take up residence in Downtown Decatur to each create a new work during the festival.

To inspire them, they will ask for contributions from you in the form of memories. Memories may be submitted online to the project web site starting in August or in person via the manual typewriters at the Festival. You can then follow the authors’ progress throughout the day; you may even see your memory folded into their work in progress.
