art | DBF returns for its fourth consecutive year with a variety of music, dance, theatre performances and visual art installations throughout the three days of the 2016 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Decatur Book Festival Presented by DeKalb Medical (DBF), which runs from Sept. 2 to Sept 4.
art | DBF showcases the arts and culture community of Decatur and Atlanta and is curated by ArtsATL, a non-profit organization that promotes a healthy and vibrant arts community in metro Atlanta through a combination of thoughtful, critical analysis, news resources, commentary, programming and in-depth features of the city’s vibrant arts scene across all disciplines –– visual art, design, music, dance, theatre, books and film.
ArtsATL Executive Director Susannah Darrow worked closely with the DBF planning committee to select a lineup of creative talent that was well tailored to this year’s programming.
“ArtsATL is thrilled to partner with the Decatur Book Festival on this year’s art | DBF programming,” Darrow said. “It’s our hope that the thoughtfully incorporated performances and installations will augment DBF’s regular programming and enrich attendees’ overall experience.”
