Memye Curtis Tucker

Memye Curtis Tucker's poetry collection, The Watchers, was named one of the “Twenty-five Books All Georgians Should Read” by The GA Center for the Book, and was selected by Louis Simpson for the 1998 Hollis Summers Poetry Prize. In 2007, Tucker received the GA Writers Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She is also the author of three chapbooks: the prizewinning Admit One and Storm Line, as well as Holding Patterns. She teaches poetry at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and has served as a Senior Editor of Atlanta Review.
