Introduced by Dale Desenna, president of Taste of Atlanta, chef and author Toni Tipton-Martin will interview food journalist Mike Jordan and Tiffanie Barriere, an acclaimed Atlanta bartender currently working independently as “The Drinking Coach.” Barriere is also a public historian, and has worked as a contributor on Tipton-Martin’s book Jubilee: Recipes From Two Centuries of African American Cooking. Together they’ll present an educational evening discussing bartending, gender, and race in the American south.
